Community Children's Nursing Associate

We are looking for a Nursing Associate to join our team!, As a Registered Nursing Associate, you will be responsible for delivering high quality clinical care undertaking a full range of routine care and clinical tasks for children and young people in ourcare as directed by the registered nurse within the Community Children's Nursing service. You will work alongside registered nurses and MDT within the community children's services in Harrow. You will need to be NMC registered, and will be required to work within the NMC Code of Practice and Professional guidelines.

The Community Children's Nursing Team consists of Community Children's Nurses, Special School Nurses, Children's Asthma Nurse and HEN Dietician, providing clinical nursing care, training and support to children, young people (aged 0-19) and their carers at home, special schools or other community settings, enabling them to remain safely in the community and transition to adult services where appropriate. Our team look after the following children and young people in the community:

• Children with acute and short-term conditions
• Children with long term conditions
• Children with disabilities and complex conditions, including neonates
• Children with life-limiting and life-threatening illness, including palliative and end-of-life-care.
• Children in special school settings.
