At ND Care & Support, we provide high-quality care and support to people in their own homes and within the community across Bridgend and the surrounding areas. We are growing our children's services and are looking for enthusiastic Community Care Workers to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and young people, while also being happy to support adults in their own homes. Every person you support is different, which means no two days are the same. You'll have the opportunity to build genuine relationships, learn new skills and make a meaningful difference to the people and families you support.What will you be doing? Your role will vary depending on the people you support, but may include:
- Supporting children and young people in their own homes and within the community
- Providing personal care and support where required
- Supporting adults to remain independent and confident in their own homes
- Helping with medication, meals and everyday activities
- Supporting children and adults to access activities and engage with their community
- Encouraging independence, choice, dignity and confidence
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Following individual care and support plans
- Completing accurate electronic care records
- Working closely with families, colleagues and other professionals
- Building positive and trusting relationships with the people you support
You don't need years of previous experience in care. We'll provide the training and support you need to become confident in your role., You don't need to have years of experience in care. What matters most is your attitude and the way you treat people. We're looking for someone who is: - Caring, patient and compassionate

- Able to work independently as well as part of a team Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults is desirable, but we will consider applicants who have the right attitude and willingness to learn. - £15.07 per hour Monday to Friday, £15.63 per hour on weekends Rates include rolled-up holiday pay
- Flexible working pattern
- £250 joining bonus Complete your first 100 hours and you'll receive a £250 joining bonus.
- Paid travel time + 25p per mile You'll be paid for the time spent travelling between the first and last home you visit, plus 25p per mile mileage reimbursement.
