Full Job Description
We are Workplace Experience, and we want everyone to love their workplace, whether in our head office locations, branches or at home. Expectations of our colleagues have never been higher, and we move fast to respond to emerging challenges and opportunities; from the culture we want in our spaces to making sure everyone is safe and able to work effectively.
What you'll be doing
As a Community Activation Lead, you'll play a key role in evolving our Group-wide Workplace Communities operating model across UK and International hubs.
You'll combine strong governance, insight and alignment to Group frameworks with a deep understanding of local nuance and priorities. Working closely with Community Leadership teams, you'll support delivery against their objectives while ensuring our communities operate consistently, effectively and in line with wider business priorities.
You'll act as the bridge between strategy and execution, partnering with the Workplace Culture & Community Lead to translate frameworks into local delivery, while continuously improving and maturing our community proposition over time.
Key responsibilities include:
Drive maturity of the community proposition, identifying gaps and improving delivery and impact
Ensure alignment between local activity and Group strategy, KPIs and priorities
Embed Workplace Communities frameworks and ways of working at a local level
Support Community Leaders to operate effectively within defined frameworks and expectations
Build strong relationships with community leadership and key stakeholders
Ensure community activity delivers meaningful colleague and business outcomes
Facilitate local engagement forums
Contribute to wider Community Leader Connect sessions
Track and report on community KPIs, engagement metrics and outcomes
Use insight to inform improvements and influence stakeholders
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and governance requirements
Support budget management and oversight of local spend
Coordinate local inputs into Group reporting, forums and updates
Support local implementation of Group-wide community, culture and engagement initiatives
Ensure alignment across Workplace Experience, Operations and People teams
Support conversations between Workplace Community Leaders and GEC Sponsors
Inform and support broader Workplace Experience initiatives and operational changes
Experience delivering culture, engagement or community initiatives
Ability to improve ways of working, not just deliver activity
Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders
Confidence working with data, KPIs and reporting to drive decisions
Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders or networks
Strong organisational and communication skills
And any experience of these would be great
You've supported operating model implementation or maturity journeys
You have experience in hybrid or multi-site environments
You're comfortable balancing delivery, governance and continuous improvement
You've worked with DE&I, social impact or behavioural change initiatives
Regular contact with senior leaders across multiple divisions and locations; a central role in shaping our new ways of working; exposure to comms, KPI measurement, colleague engagement and cultural initiatives; and a supportive, forward-thinking team where you can learn, grow and thrive. Driving a strategy that enables our workplaces to make impact in the lives of our people and their wider communities.
This is a place for you
Our ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion supporting our customers, colleagues and communities, and we're committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop. We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer Initiative.
We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns. And, as a Disability Confident Leader, we guarantee interviews for a fair and proportionate number of applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role with a disability, long-term health or neurodivergent condition through the Disability Confident Scheme.
We provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers. Just let us know what you need.
Ready for a career where you can have a positive impact as you learn, grow and thrive? Apply today and find out more.
At Lloyds Banking Group, we're driven by a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are focused on making a difference to customers, businesses and communities. With us you'll have a key role to play in shaping the financial services of the future, whilst the scale and reach of our Group means you'll have many opportunities to learn, grow and develop.
We keep your data safe. So, we'll only ever ask you to provide confidential or sensitive information once you have formally been invited along to an interview or accepted a verbal offer to join us which is when we run our background checks. We'll always explain what we need and why, with any request coming from a trusted Lloyds Banking Group person.
We're focused on creating a values-led culture and are committed to building a workforce which reflects the diversity of the customers and communities we serve. Together we're building a truly inclusive workplace where all of our colleagues have the opportunity to make a real difference.
