Applications are invited for the part time post of Communications and Campaigns Officer working within the Directorate of Student Life at Royal Holloway University of London.
This part-time role provides an exciting opportunity to develop digital resources and online content to support the delivery of Royal Holloway's wellbeing and experience offering.
Reporting to the Director of Student Life they will contribute to the work of the Directorate and support the strategy and aims of the University and Student Journey Division. Role holders will be expected to demonstrate our University values - being Daring, Innovative, Open and Respectful - in their work and be a champion of equality, diversity and inclusion.
The Communications and Campaigns Officer will be responsible for engaging students by providing effective and digital communications and resources to enhance and support the student journey. They will also help co-ordinate education and awareness campaigns in areas covered by the Student Life teams. The Directorate of Student Life includes a broad range of student facing teams who are core to the student journey: Active Lifestyle & Sport, Chaplaincy, Counselling & Mental Health, Disability & Neurodiversity, Hall Life, International & Money Advice, Student Casework, Student Engagement & Insights, and Wellbeing Support.
We are also seeking a candidate who can develop and produce exciting and authentic content that is relevant and engaging to our student community. They should be able to adapt content to reflect student demographic needs and target communications to specific student groups where needed. Candidates will need to work with a broad range of stakeholders, including our students, and be a confident and proactive communicator.
With roles in Student Life there is a need for mainly campus-based working - for this role to be present to film and develop content at events and to engage with students - but there will be some opportunity for working remotely each week.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the University is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
