Communal Cleaner

Pinnacle Group are recruiting a dedicated Communal Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at a retirement living scheme. You will join our Soft Services Cleaning Team, based at a housing complex in Sandfield Hey, West Derby, L12. Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations - including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care. The complex is spread over 2 floors and will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure a welcoming environment for all residents and visitors. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence.,

• Cleaning of communal internal and external areas such as lifts, stairs, courtyards, paths, grass, etc., as per required contract specification.
• Removing any dumped refuse bags and household items to refuse chambers or other refuse areas.
• Checking communal lighting and replacing blown bulbs.
• Sweeping hard surfaces and litter picking of soft surfaces.
• Cleaning windows within easy reach.
  
  Good physical health is essential due to the nature of the tasks - bending, climbing stairs and heavy lifting are involved in some tasks.
• Good knowledge and experience, and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment, including COSHH and Health and Safety
• Strong communication skills are vital to speak with the residents.
• The appointment to this role will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Basic DBS.

  We are offering a part-time role of 13 hours per week, working the following set shift pattern.
• Monday / Wednesday / Friday 9 am - 12noon
• Tuesday / Thursday 9 am - 11 am
