Full Job Description
Our Senior Commissioning Officers will work under the direction of Commissioning Managers, leading and supporting the delivery of commissioning plans, which underpin our wider strategic intent. These posts will operate across the Service and take a lead for specific thematic areas of activity (Early Intervention & Prevention, Living Well or Ageing Well).,
- Shape the future and make a real difference: You will translate strategic vision into reality, and through delivering the end-to-end commissioning cycle, your work will directly contribute to improving lives across Lincolnshire., Due to recent changes in immigration law in the UK we are unable to offer skilled worker visa sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the requirements. You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary. Working arrangements regarding hybrid working will be discussed as part of the appointment process. Our technology platform and equipment is very good enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We require that you have in place good connectivity, and we will discuss during the recruitment process if support with this is needed.
- Relevant degree or equivalent level qualification or equivalent significant end-to-end commissioning knowledge, skills and experience within the adult care sector more broadly and in particular at least one of the priority portfolio areas (Early Intervention & Prevention, Living Well or Ageing Well). This must also include advanced knowledge of all relevant legislation as well as national and local regulations, guidance, priorities, policies and procedures.
- Recent and relevant end-to-end commissioning delivery experience, spanning activity across all stages of the commissioning cycle, with evidence of successful implementation at each stage and an understanding of the interdependency of the activity and application of continuous learning whilst progressing through the cycle.
- Demonstrable experience in the application of analytical, judgemental, creative and development skills, to analyse and interpret highly complex information and make recommendations. All of which being used to draft the documents, papers, reports and communications required to engage stakeholders and support informed decision making through appropriate internal and external governance arrangements., In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
