Commis Chef

In this role, you will support food preparation and basic cooking under the guidance of our experienced Chef de Parties. You will rotate through key kitchen sections - including sauce, vegetables, fish and butchery - giving you the opportunity to build a strong foundation while learning a wide range of skills. Our menu brings together modern British and European cuisine, alongside comforting, feel-good dishes and healthy options. You will be encouraged to learn, ask questions and gradually showcase your developing skills, knowing that you are supported by a team that wants you to succeed.,

• Assist with food preparation and basic cooking across different kitchen sections
• Learn and rotate through sections such as sauce, vegetables, fish and butchery
• Follow guidance from senior chefs to develop skills, consistency and kitchen knowledge
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety at all times
• Keep your work area clean, organised and well prepared for service
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth and efficient service
• Show willingness to learn, develop and apply new skills
