Commis Chef

Shifts: 40 or 48 hours per week over 4 days ( 4 x 10 or 4 x 12 hour shifts) on a rota basis with the occasional late night for events & alternate weekends,

• Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals to a high standard
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
• Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Help with stock rotation and storage
• Learn and develop culinary techniques under guidance from senior chefs
• Respond to residents and customers dietary needs and personal preferences
Open to new ideas, you'll have an innovative yet organised approach to cooking, always adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service. You'll enjoy working with others, working together to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal. Because we care for vulnerable people, we'll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this ( 40).
