Commercial Water Auditor - Field Based Technician | £28,000 | Greater Manchester
Temp to Perm | Weekly Pay | Field Based
Do you enjoy practical, hands-on work and meeting different people every day? Are you confident working independently and looking for a field-based role where no two days are quite the same? Sharp Sales Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Commercial Water Auditor - Field Based Technician to work across Greater Manchester on a temp-to-perm basis.
The role
You will visit residential and commercial properties, helping customers reduce water waste and improve efficiency. Your day will include carrying out water surveys, checking meter readings and flow rates, installing simple water-saving devices, identifying minor leaks and providing practical advice. You will also speak with customers face-to-face, including some door-to-door engagement, to arrange appointments and explain water-saving improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit properties across Greater Manchester
- Carry out water efficiency surveys and basic checks
- Install water-saving devices
- Identify and complete minor leak repairs within your training
- Provide customers with practical water-saving advice
- Book appointments through local canvassing
- Record visits and outcomes accurately
- Work towards daily and weekly targets
- Follow Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures
Pay & Benefits
- £28,000 salary
- Paid weekly

The person
You will need:
- Access to your own car - essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Practical experience in maintenance, repairs or similar hands-on work
- Confidence using basic hand tools
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to organise your own workload
- Confidence working independently
- Basic IT skills
- Experience in plumbing, property maintenance, water efficiency, field service or door-to-door work would be useful, although training can be provided.
- A clear DBS check will be required.
