Commercial Surveyor (RICS / MRICS)Location: North London/Hertfordshire border (3 days office, 2 days home working)Salary: circa 60,000 base + 10,000-15,000 annual bonus + 10% pensionAbout the companyOur client is a long-established, well-regarded property practice with a loyal client base and a reputation for looking after its staff. Following the recent appointment of a Business Development Manager, new instructions are coming in, and the surveying team needs another experienced pair of hands to be ready for the growth ahead.The roleThis is a hands-on commercial surveying role in a smaller business, where you will be involved in every aspect of the work rather than a single slice of it. The portfolio is centred on high street retail and shopping centres, with some offices and residential above shops, and the company is looking to broaden the asset classes it covers.You will report to a senior member of the surveying team and handle a varied caseload including:Rent reviews and

lease renewalsManaged lettingsValuations, including RICS Red BookParty wall mattersLandlord administration and related taxation matters, including heritage taxAbout youRICS or MRICS accreditedSolid commercial property experience, ideally retail focusedRed Book valuation experienceExperience with MRI CubeBased within easy reach of the North London/Hertfordshire border officesAble to hit the ground running and work independently in a hands-on environmentA good sense of humour and a team-first attitude.
