Opportunities to go to some of our great live music and history events Are you a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent), from a commercial or general practice background? Do you have estate management experience to help manage our mixed use estate at Wrest Park? Do you want to play a key role within the Commercial Estates Team at English Heritage? If the answer is yes to any of those questions, we would love to hear from you! Working across Wrest Park, and supporting the wider Commercial Estates portfolio, you will provide high quality professional advice on all aspects of estate and asset management. You will help shape and deliver asset management strategies that will maximise commercial opportunities whilst protecting the heritage significance of our sites. Your commercial decisions will help secure the future of our heritage for generations to come. This is great opportunity for a surveyor (MRICS or equivalent), who is passionate about developing their career within the heritage asset management sector. To be considered as a Commercial Surveyor, you'll need: - Proven experience in managing a commercial portfolio of properties and of managing a range of estates surveying issues. - Commercial awareness and budgetary management skills. - Experience of casework, writing briefs, preparing reports, using information from a variety of sources. - Experience of GIS and use of estate management databases. - Experiencing of presenting and reporting, and the ability to provide professional advice to clients and stakeholders.

The role is full time and permanent, working 36 hours per week. We offer flexible working arrangements where the role allows. This role can be based at one of our sites or offices (Wrest Park), at home, or worked on a hybrid pattern. You will be required to attend Wrest Park on a frequent basis. If the majority of your working week will be based at Wrest Park, you will receive a premium on top of the advertised salary.
