Location: Stroud or Gloucester (with hybrid working)WSP Solicitors is seeking a motivated Commercial Property Solicitor/Lawyerto join our growing Commercial Property department. In this role, you will work on a broad range of matters, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of a long-established yet progressive practice that puts clients first and values clear, practical advice.If you are a confident commercial property lawyer looking to broaden your experience and grow within a supportive, people-focused firm, this role offers an exciting next step.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Property Work & Client AdvisoryManaging your own caseload across a wide range of commercial
property matters, including buying, selling, and leasing commercial property.Advising clients on landlord and tenant matters and a variety of commercial property agreements, including technically demanding documentation.Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice using plain English.Client Relationship ManagementActing for a broad range of commercial clients and developing strong, long-term client relationships.Demonstrating a commercially aware, client-first approach in all aspects of your work.Business Development & Profile BuildingSupporting the firm's marketing and business development activities as appropriate, including networking and relationship building.Contributing to the continued growth and profile of the Commercial Property department.Teamwork & Professional DevelopmentWorking collaboratively as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team.Continuing to develop your technical skills, commercial awareness, and professional confidence through internal and
external training.The Ideal CandidateCirca 2+ years' PQE as a Commercial Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with practice rights.Proven experience across all aspects of commercial property law, including buying, selling, and leasing.A solid working knowledge of property law and landlord and tenant law.A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clear, plain-English advice.Strong organisational, interpersonal, and IT skills.An enthusiastic, team-focused approach with a good balance of technical ability and commercial awareness.What WSP Solicitors OffersWSP Solicitors is a growing, Gloucestershire-based firm with offices in Stroud and Gloucester and over 260 years of history serving the local community.
