Commercial Property Lawyer (Senior Legal Adviser)

We are looking for a Commercial Property Lawyer (Senior Legal Adviser) to join our Commercial Property Team. In this role, you will work on a diverse range of property matters that directly support the delivery of public services and the effective management of public assets. From acquiring land for community projects to enabling strategic developments and supporting the use of County Council property, your work will contribute to projects that have a lasting impact on Hampshire's residents, organisations and communities.What you'll do: As a Commercial Property Lawyer, you will:

• Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial property matters.
• Support projects that enable the County Council and its partners to deliver services effectively and lawfully.
• Work closely with client departments, public sector partners and other stakeholders to find practical, solution-focused outcomes.
• Manage a varied caseload including acquisitions, disposals, leases, easements, licences, deeds of covenant and other commercial property transactions.
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and helping develop less experienced team members.

  We are looking for someone who combines strong legal expertise with a commitment to public service and collaborative working., A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer (Fellow of CILEX) with a current practising certificate in England and Wales.
• Experienced in commercial property law and capable of managing a varied property caseload.
• Able to demonstrate sound legal judgement and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
• An effective communicator who can build positive, trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
