Are you an experienced commercial professional ready to lead on a vital Highways Term Service Contract? Join Kier Transportation in Glastonbury, where your expertise will help shape the future of local infrastructure and drive real value in the delivery of essential road maintenance and improvement works. This role involves managing costs, ensuring value for money, and maintaining financial control over highways maintenance and improvement projects.

You will also have the support to grow your career while making a real difference in the communities we serve., As a Commercial Manager, you'll will work closely with operational teams, local authority stakeholders, and supply chain partners to optimise commercial performance and ensure compliance with contract terms.

Your day to day will include:

-Oversee contract performance ensuring compliance with commercial and contractual obligations on a local authority highways framework

-Manage budgets and control costs mitigating financial risks across multiple projects

-Support procurement and subcontractor management, driving value for money and strong supply chain relationships

-Lead on valuation and payment processes, including variations, applications for payment, and final accounts

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

-Extensive commercial experience in highways or infrastructure, ideally on local authority term contracts

-Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, including administration and negotiation experience, Disability Confident

Hours: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Salary: £80,000 - £95,000 per year + bonus + annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
