Are you a proactive, experienced and analytical Finance Business Partner looking for the challenge of taking a mission driven organisation to its next level of success? Ornua is actively seeking a tenacious, energetic and collaborative Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our finance department as we continue our growth trajectory. As our Commercial Finance Business Partner you will play a key role in; Influencing senior commercial stakeholders to drive significant business performance improvement. You will achieve this through providing brilliant financial insight on a timely basis and proactively partnering stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing robust financial controls relating to the accounting of sales and margin. Supporting both our Nantwich site (UK) and Avila site (Spain). Why Ornua?

- The commercial organisation is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua's consumer brands including Ireland's most successful food export: Kerrygold.

- Comprehensive Benefits with regional specific offerings. Why This Role Is Valuable: As our Commercial Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for leading on; Supporting Customer Pricing:
- Develop a deep understanding of the business and become a trusted business partner that can challenge pricing decisions to optimise our margins
- Provide timely, accurate and standardised information to facilitate discussions around customer tenders Supporting NPD process:
- Support development of a stage-gate process aligned to the commercial strategies of the business
- Partner the NPD by providing effective commercial analysis and controls to support decision making Sales reporting:
- Present sales information in a meaningful way with business commentaries that provide real insight
- Highlight exceptions and be tenacious to make sure improvement actions are followed through Procurement analysis:
- Setting raw material standards
- Analyse purchasing decision and assess long or short positions
- Financial accounting (margin and purchasing):
- Manage an efficient month end process with robust balance sheet reconciliations
- Have a continuous improvement mindset to develop the processes in a controlled and consistent way Forecasting and budgeting:
- Manage the process for producing accurate volume and margin forecasts on a monthly and annual basis
- Robustly challenge assumptions and clearly highlight business risks and mitigating actions Project work:
- Develop and present business cases on an ad-hoc basis
CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience - Broad and relevant experience in a commercial finance role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with large data dets
- Experience of working with an ERP system
- Good level of Spanish would be desirable but not essential
