Full Job Description
Our client has over 45 years' experience providing surgical and wound care products to almost every NHS Trust in the UK. They have become the first choice for procedure packs, gowns, drapes, PPE & surgical instruments within acute care. Our client has a growing team of Field Sales Representatives and an in-house Customer Support Department. They are now looking for an experienced Hospital Representative to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business investing in its growth and the people within it. In this Clinical Support role you will lead and manage the commercial process for clinical products ensuring tenders, quotations, sample and commercial opportunities are delivered accurately competitively and within the required timelines & are consistent with customer specification & intended use. You will also provide expert support to the business on clinical queries relating to the products manufactured and procured,
- Provide expert clinical input into tender responses, ensuring proposals reflect current best practice, national guidance, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all samples supplied are fit for purpose, meet customer requirements, and support successful tender submissions.
- Physically inspect, sign off, and approve samples prior to despatch, ensuring they meet the required quality, specification, and presentation standards & match the customer requested specification.
- Work with quality and operational teams to ensure all clinical information is accurate & aligned with relevant product specifications, intended use, and customer requirements.
- Support the sourcing of new products by identifying and engaging with potential new suppliers, as well as identifying suitable alternative products from existing suppliers.
- Assist in evaluating sourcing options to ensure products meet quality, specification, commercial, and customer requirements.
RGN with theatre/ scrub experience or OPD practitioner - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relations
- Excellent attention to detail and IT literate
- A background in a commercial, sales, procurement or customer-facing healthcare environment is desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
