Are you an experienced Recovery Practitioner looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of people with co-occurring mental health, alcohol, and drug issues?, This is an exciting opportunity to join the Via multi-disciplinary team in our newly awarded Kingston service as an experienced Recovery Practitioner.

This post will specialise in working with clients with an identified Co-occurring mental health, alcohol and/or drug issue, (COMHAD) and will be based between the core Via service location at Surbiton Health Centre and the local NHS Mental Health COMHAD team based within Tolworth Hospital.

Line management and employment will be under Via, however the post holder will also receive additional practice supervision from the local NHS Trust's COMHAD Senior Clinical Practitioner.

The core Via Kingston service:
Working in partnership with an NHS foundation Trust, Via are contracted to deliver the Kingston Wellbeing Service - an integrated drug and alcohol treatment and recovery support service that serves adult residents of the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames. Based at the Surbiton Health Centre and operating at locations across the borough, the service is high performing, ambitious and extremely well regarded by stakeholders and the local community.

The Kingston COMHAD service:
The local NHS Trust COMHAD community services provision is a nurse led consultation provision operating across all five boroughs (Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton & Wandsworth) operating as a "virtual team" within each borough's community pathways supporting mainstreaming requirements within services and providing specialist provision for those with complex co-occurring mental health, alcohol and drugs needs.
