You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of consultants, colposcopists, doctors and nurses in the Colposcopy Unit at Royal Preston Hospital, providing expertise management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire process is managed smoothly.
We currently have a part time post of 15 hours (Thursday and Friday working pattern)
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the day to day co-ordination of the Colposcopy Service.
Providing administration and secretarial support, with particular responsibility for ensuring a complete and accurate patient activity data is collated and entered onto the Colposcopy Database System Compuscope/ Masey in a timely manner.
You will work as part of a small team, and ensure that relevant national and local targets are met . The post involves dealing with patient information and therefore is of the utmost importance.
You will ensure the provision of a high quality service for both patients and clinical staff by being approachable, knowledgeable and patient focused.
