Could You Help Shape the Future of David Lewis? Co-Production, Participation & Engagement Manager

Location: Warford, Cheshire

Some jobs make a difference. This one changes how an entire organisation thinks. At David Lewis, we're proud of the incredible support we provide every single day to people with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and complex needs. But we know that the people who know our services best are the people who use them. That's why we're looking for an exceptional Co-Production, Participation & Engagement Manager.

This isn't just another management role. It's an opportunity to ensure the voices of the people we support are heard, listened to and acted upon at every level of our charity. If you believe decisions should be made with people, not for people, this could quite genuinely be the perfect role for you.

What will you be doing?

  • You'll lead our co-production journey across David Lewis, helping ensure lived experience influences everything we do.

  • Working alongside the people we support, their families and colleagues across the charity, you'll help shape services, influence strategy and make sure participation becomes part of our everyday culture.

  • You'll lead exciting initiatives including:

    • Creating meaningful opportunities for people we support to influence decisions.

    • Developing engagement with families and carers.

    • Leading our People's Council and Co-Production Working Group.

    • Supporting service development and modernisation.

    • Embedding person-centred practice across the charity.

    • Developing surveys, forums and engagement opportunities that genuinely drive change.

    • Helping create volunteering, work experience and employment opportunities for the people we support.

    • Championing the rights, aspirations and ambitions of those we exist to support.

This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing people together, challenging thinking and turning great ideas into meaningful action.

Who are we looking for?

You'll already understand what great co-production looks like. Perhaps you've worked within social care, health, education or another person-centred environment where partnership working and lived experience are at the heart of everything. You'll bring:

  • Experience delivering co-production or participation initiatives.

  • A passion for empowering others.

  • The confidence to influence people at every level.

  • Outstanding organisational and communication skills.

  • Experience leading change and improving services.

  • A genuine belief that the people we support should always have the loudest voice in shaping their future.

Why David Lewis?

Because this isn't just somewhere you work. It's somewhere you'll help shape. You'll join a charity that isn't afraid to challenge itself, try new ideas and continually improve the lives of the people we support. You'll work alongside passionate colleagues, inspiring families and most importantly extraordinary people whose voices deserve to be at the centre of every conversation.

If you're ready to help build a culture where co-production isn't just a word but the way we work... We'd love to hear from you. Apply today and help shape the future of David Lewis together.
