Role Description


The Co-Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hounslow, working in close partnership with Slough Borough Council and key stakeholders. This role involves overseeing strategic initiatives, supporting service delivery, and contributing to long-term planning that aligns with the council's economic, social, and community objectives.


Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with council leadership on business development, reviewing operational performance, guiding product and service improvements, and ensuring that community needs and regulatory requirements are met. The Co-Owner will engage with residents, partners, and internal teams to support transparent communication, drive sustainable growth, and champion inclusive practices. The position also requires active participation in decision-making, budget oversight, and continuous improvement across agreed areas of responsibility.


Qualifications



  • Strong Communication skills, including the ability to engage with diverse communities, stakeholders, and internal teams.

  • Proven Sales and Marketing experience, with a track record of supporting growth, partnerships, and community-oriented initiatives.

  • Experience in Product Development, particularly in shaping services or programs that respond to resident and stakeholder needs.

  • Knowledge of Social Media and digital channels to support public engagement, information sharing, and reputation management.

  • Demonstrated leadership and co-ownership mentality, with experience in governance, strategic planning, or joint ventures.

  • Ability to manage budgets, interpret performance data, and make evidence-based decisions.

  • Background in public sector, local government, or community-focused organizations is beneficial.

  • Relevant higher education qualification in business, public administration, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
