Full Job Description

The adult Haematology service at Imperial College healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT) service runs one of teh largest stem cell transplant (SCT) JACIE accredited programmes within London, performing approximately 170 procedures annually. The portfolio of the transplant unit has further expanded to include CAR-T therapy and other innovative cellular/gene therapies.,

  • To fulfil the role of CNS, working as an autonomous practitioner, managing a defined caseload
  • Provide specialist nursing advice and support related to SCT/Cellular therapies
  • To support the safe coordination of SCT treatment pathways working as an integral member of the transplant coordination team.
  • To participate in all aspects of the planning and coordination process for patients undergoing SCT and other cellular therapies.

    The successful applicant will be highly motivated, possess advanced communication skills and have previous experience in the specialty, including stem cell transplant. Strong organisational skills and collaborative working would also be essential to ensure effective working with the wider multidisciplinary team to champion best practice and enhance patient experience throughout the transplant journey.
