Full Job Description
We are now seeking a CNC Milling setters to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Dartford. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products.
- Setting and operating CNC 5 axis Milling machines with Fanuc controls
- Working on technical engineering drawings
- Working with aluminium and stainless steel
- Ability to use measuring tools
- Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres. Requirement of CNC Miller:
- Ideally, previous experience in setting and operating CNC Milling machines with Fanuc or Haas controls
- Ideally apprentice trained or equivalent or time served
- Ability to change tools and adjust offsets
- Ability to use measuring tools
Working hours: 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 6.30 pm to 6:30 am Benefits: 25 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays, Company pension scheme, Employee assistance programme (subject to probation period) Profit related bonus scheme (subject to probation period), overtimes
