As a Business Development Manager, you will play an integral part in identifying new business via new or existing clients, maintaining existing client relationships, working closely with the company Directors to develop and deliver the sales and marketing requirements. You will use your industry knowledge and experience to keep up to date with market trends, our competitors and collect customer feedback in order to continuously improve the business. You will also use your experience and direct client links to support projects which include new product introduction. Training will be provided to enable you to quote for new business if required offering proactive and agile solutions to our customers to ensure that their requirements are met. As a key member of the management team, you will often be working off site in order to obtain new business.   • Manufacture and assembly. Occasional offsite work may be required., As a CMM Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting jobs at various stages of the machining inspection process (1st off, final inspection and FAIR inspection) in line with customer requirements (capture specific measurements from customer requirements).
  • You will also be responsible for providing machine operators timely feedback on product non-conformities, highlighting any training needs to supervisors and assist them with any technical queries. You'll use your experience to seek out and drive continuous improvements to identify and resolve issues within your control, also contributing towards wider continuous improvement activities., Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge, with a forward-thinking organisation within the high-tech engineering sector? You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, follow in house routing/processes ensuring that the correct calibrated equipment is used., As an Airframe Fitter, you will be involved with the assembly of our core product working with a variety of metallic structures. You'll perform all assembly operations in line with our Standard Operating Procedures, whilst working to the approved quality standards. You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and have the ability to ensure that the correct equipment is used and fully calibrated.

  • Good understanding of surface treatment processes.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, a bill of material and conditions of supply.
  • Ability to discuss drawings/specifications with customers in detail and give appropriate advice.
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills (ideally Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Projects).
  • Experience of using CRM systems.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills (both written and verbally).
  • Target driven with the ability to show resilience drive and determination.
  • Strong team player., Familiar with Pattern Shop and Toolroom Machinery & a good understanding of Engineering Drawings.

  • Excellent communications skills are imperative.

  • Ability to read and interpret 3D Models & 2D drawings.
  • Experience in a CMM software. Ideally Camio but working knowledge of others will be taken into consideration.
  • Excellent customer facing skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Solid engineering background.
  • Good understanding of the quality management systems (QMS) in either Aerospace/Automotive industry.
  • Understanding of AS9100.
  • FAIRS process experience preferred.
  • Experience of various inspection tools and the ability to understand inspection reports.
  • Good understanding of Inspection and manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience of CNC machining is preferred.
  • IT literate, in particular SAP, Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills (Lean/six sigma knowledge preferred).
  • The ability to work flexible hours should the business need arise., Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
  • Previous experience in aerospace, or another high-quality manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Attention to detail; producing high quality, close tolerance components.
  • Experience of key processes: rubber press, hand form, profiling parts after form, countersinking, wheeling, rolling., Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
  • Aerospace airframe / structural assembly experience, preferably working within the aerospace industry.
  • Ability to read / understand drawings and aerospace specifications.
  • Key processes: drilling, countersinking, riveting, use of sealants, fitting helicoils, bearing, bushes etc.
  • Trade test to be completed as a follow up / 2nd stage interview to demonstrate ability to carry out assembly processes to aerospace quality standards.
