As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing our Azure cloud environment. You will work closely with our operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based applications and services. This role is crucial in leveraging cloud technologies to support the S&Ws goals and improve operational efficiency and support growth and scaleQualificationsKey Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure cloud solutions to meet business requirements
• Manage and monitor Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components
• Automate deployment and configuration processes, utilising tools such as PowerShell
• Ensure the security and compliance of our Azure environment by implementing best practices and security controls
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and services
• Develop detailed integration plans for merging the IT systems of the acquiring and target companies, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with the integration of IT infrastructure, including data security, compliance, and system compatibility
• Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers involved in the IT integration process
  
  Experience of working in a Hybrid Cloud environment
• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and architecture
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
Desired
• Working knowledge of Zscaler
• In-depth knowledge of Azure firewalls
• SQL experience
