Clinical Trial Research Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Trial Research Nurse in the Urology team as part of the Cancer Research Delivery Group (CRDG) at St. Bartholomew's Hospital., The Clinical Trials Research Nurse is an independent practitioner working within the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will take responsibility for the co-ordination and management of all aspects of a clinical research portfolio comprising in-house, national and international clinical trials (in relation to anti-cancer treatment or palliative care, such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery or supportive care). • Coordinate clinical trials according to GCP regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with key personnel to ensure the continued care and support for patients involved in clinical trials
• Work with a team of research nurses and provide specialised nursing interventions
Accurately and timely complete trial data and documentation Support Clinical Trial Practitioners and Clinical Trial Assistants (including assistance in delegated responsibilities) Carry out essential and appropriate nursing care and procedures

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with high levels of attention to detail and is energised by working in a challenging and fast paced environment. The candidate will need experience in haemato-oncology nursing. Chemotherapy trained and competent is desirable. The candidate will work within a highly effective team and should have good IT and communication skills. Previous experience of working in clinical trials would be advantageous
