Clinical Team Manager

The postholder will oversee the performance of the team, ensuring supervision, appraisal and appropriate training and development are in place.

To be responsible for the implementation of quality initiative (benchmarking), evaluation, monitoring and clinical audit.

To oversee the ongoing development of the designated Nursing Home and influence Directorate strategic development in response to changing client, local community and national needs.

To ensure care delivery is of the highest standards and is based on evidence/research/best practice and Policies and Procedures.

To provide clinical leadership for the delivery of high-quality dementia and older adult care, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards and best practice frameworks. To support continuous quality improvement, service assurance activities and the maintenance of standards in preparation for internal and external inspection processes.

To manage and make best use of all resources.

To provide effective professional leadership to multidisciplinary team.

In support of providing a co-ordinated and integrated approach to ensure effective working relationships exist between all associated services and agencies.

To provide nursing clinical input into the service, leading in providing health promotional activities, education and training with patients, carers and staff.
