An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pulmonary rehab assistant to join our dedicated team at South Tees Hospital Foundation Trust. The fixed term post, based predominantly at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton, offers the chance to be part of a small, friendly team delivering vital interventions through a multidisciplinary approach.

The position is primarily based at the Friarage Hospital however it requires frequent travel to other sites to support the delivery of running pulmonary rehab groups.

If you are looking to make a real difference in patients' lives as part of a compassionate and committed team, we would love to hear from you., The successful candidate will support the delivery and administration aspects of pulmonary rehabilitation groups, working under the direction of a physiotherapist. Key responsibilities including setting up the room for sessions, assisting with the running of the groups, activities, and ensuring all patient relating administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

The role is ideal for someone who is organised and enthusiastic and enjoys working closely with patients and colleagues to support improved health outcome.

Carrying out therapy treatments advised by an AHP, including obtaining and interpreting clinical observations to ascertain safety to perform therapy tasks, progression of treatment in response to clinical presentation and assessing and evaluating response to interventions, delivered as individual sessions or in group therapy.

Successful candidate must have access to a vehicle for work and hold a valid UK driving license to meet the requirements of the role.
