Clinical Support Worker

To work as a team member providing support to Medical and Nursing Staff within Sexual Health and HIV Service. The post will include clinical chaperoning, phlebotomy and microscopy (when trained).

• Be able to work without constant direct supervision using initiative within the level of competence for the post.
• Act as a role model at all times, reflecting the Trust values and behaviours and deliver high standards of care.
• Act as an advocate on behalf of patients and service users, recognising, respecting and responding to the diverse needs of our population, maintaining a high level of, The post will include Clinical Chaperoning, phlebotomy and microscopy (when trained).
• To set up and close down the clinical area, be responsible to ensure that stock levels are maintained and to have an awareness of clerical duties needed to book service users in to try to build a flexible workforce.
  
  There is the expectation that you will be expected to work across the sites of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
