Full Job Description
The Operating Department Orderly role is a vital part of ensuring the maintenance of the day-to-day efficiency of the Theatre Department., The duties are predominantly that of escorting patients to and from the Theatre Department and wards in a timely manner. As such you will be expected to have a caring and friendly personality as often you will be the first representative of the theatre team to meet the patient., The well-being of our staff is of the upmost importance to us. If you are offered a role at our Trust, and fall into the increased and higher risk categories as set out by Public Health England (PHE) and NHSI/E, your line manager will complete an risk assessment with you. This will be completed in conjunction with the latest guidance from Public Health England in relation to Covid-19.

We are currently looking to recruit dynamic, enthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking individuals to join our team within the Theatre Department at The Princess Royal Hospital., An ability to work and communicate with all other members of the ward and theatre teams is essential. As some unsociable hours will be rostered the ability to be flexible will be expected, weekends and evening shifts may be included.
