Full Job Description
We are looking for a Clinical Support Officer to cover administrative and clinical duties. The role is mainly office based however you may be required to work cross-site, ie Colchester, Harwich or Clacton sites, although we would aim to keep you at the Clacton base mostly. You will be supporting the wider clinical team.
This is temporary position to cover maternity leave until August 2027.
We would like a dynamic, enthusiastic team player to work alongside the existing Clinical Support Officers. The environment can on occasions be pressured and demanding, but it is also very satisfying - the patient is at the heart of everything we do.
You should possess the the ability to prioritise and learn new tasks quickly is essential. Flexibility is a must, along with a calm, polite, respectful manner with the patients.
Proposed Interview date: 26th August 2026
Complete administrative tasks, including daily audits.
Drop off equipment, supplies to patients. Manage the tracking of equipment such as syringe drivers.
Submit loan equipment forms.
Undertake administration of insulin within patient's homes.
Attend patients' homes to clinically assist clinicians with the manual handling and mobility needs of the patients.
Unpack twice weekly deliveries into sites of nursing stock and replenish shelves.
Process all new catheter referrals and any changes with follow up regimes.
Must hold a full driving licence and have a car available to drive.
