Full Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step into a leadership role while continuing to grow their specialist clinical expertise in community stroke rehabilitation.
You'll work alongside a team of experienced clinical specialists to help lead the service in the South Gloucestershire part of the Integrated Community Stroke Services (ICSS), collaborating closely with fellow team leads and the overall service lead. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines both operational and clinical leadership. You'll play a key part in shaping the service-making decisions around demand and capacity, contributing to service development, and supporting and managing colleagues, while also maintaining a complex and meaningful clinical caseload.
You'll be joining a supportive, friendly team that values collaboration and offers excellent opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression., + To provide a specialised Occupational Therapy assessment and implement patient-centred treatment programmes for people after stroke within their homes or current place of residence as part of the specialist stroke service, working alongside the rest of the MDT.
+ To provide stroke specific advice and support to other staff in the Integrated Network Teams and wider stroke service as necessary
+ Line management responsibility to provide leadership, operational support and development and supervision of the multi-disciplinary, integrated, community stroke services.
+ To provide professional support and clinical supervision to all relevant practitioners within their discipline across the community stroke service.
+ To promote a positive approach to change to facilitate the development of community stroke services
+ To coordinate the multi professional team closely with the Clinical and Operational Lead for ICSS and Specialist Services manager.
+ To hold a highly specialist clinical caseload including independent management of people after stroke with complex presentation
