The Outer North West Division Podiatry ServiceinCLCHis dedicated to change and innovation and we are looking for a new Clinical Specialist Lead Podiatrist. We are seeking a clinical leaderwho is driven and motivated to doing things differently, breaking down traditional divisions within the profession. Our goal is to develop and establish new care pathways that makes targeted use of clinical sciences to develop clear patient centred, evidence-based packages of care for all appropriate referrals to the podiatry service. We champion the role of community health professionals to make sure our patients get great care closer to home., The Clinical Specialist Lead Podiatrist role will be providing patient-centred quality care through practising at a high level of professional and personal autonomy.

  • The post holder will use specialist knowledge and skills of clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment within an agreed scope of practice within thepodiatry service.
  • The post holder will be expected to be the Advanced Diagnostic and Decision maker of podiatry service. The post holder will support a way of working that emphasises a more efficient and patient focused service, and will ensure the safe referral, treatment, and discharge of patients with potentially undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations across a service area.
  • They will work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to provide best clinical care, emotional and psychological support and education to patients, service users and their careers.
