JOB DESCRIPTION: Following an internal move we are recruiting for a Clinical Specialist to join our UK team, as part of the South Regional CRM Team, focused in South West/Central area, responsible for supporting the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) technology lines by providing expert clinical consultation, teaching and support on the use of the CRM portfolio of products and its appropriate application in the clinical setting in the assigned territory.

Ideal candidate's locations: Gloucester / Bristol / Bath / Swindon / Reading


As a Clinical Specialist you will maintain up-to-date technical CRM knowledge of current and new Abbott therapies and technologies as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market. You will provide technical support and assistance to the sales force, physicians and allied professionals for CRM case support throughout (wherever possible) the assigned focus hospitals, and also across the south regional territory.


You will be able to analyze the technical characteristics of competitors' devices and products, promote the CRM product lines and assist with market penetration by providing expert technical customer support.


What you'll need:



  • Individuals will ideally have a science related degree and significant experience within medical devices, and specifically pacing.

  • Cardiac Physiologist background is preferred

  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to travel.

  • Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol.

  • Strong cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge.
