An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of an enthusiastic, methodical course organiser and administrator to join our busy Clinical Skills department, on the University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire Coventry site., To provide a specialised, comprehensive and confidential administration service to the Clinical Skills Department. This exciting and challenging post will provide the opportunity to join well-established and successful team which support the provision of a full programme of courses for all grades of medical and multi-disciplinary staff both within the Trust and within the Region. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Clinical skills department courses, manage the course administration and the room bookings. The post holder will work closely with members of the team to ensure that the department runs smoothly; and to ensure a comprehensive and excellent education service is provided. This will be done in accordance with Departmental, Trust and National standards, policies, and procedures.
You will need to work as part of a team, managing conflicting priorities and using your own initiative to manage own workload effectively.
We are looking for someone who is at ease talking to a wide range of staff groups and have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
NHS experience preferred but not essential, it is more important to have a 'can do' attitude.
