Clinical Sister- Campion Ward

The post holder will contribute to the development of the ward team and support the Ward Manager in the delivery of a consistently high quality and cost effective service. To deputise for the Ward Manager as required.

Campion is a 29 bedded GP led unit, providing holistic patient care to patients requiring a period of recovery and rehabilitation before being discharged home. The successful candidate must be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have a minimum of 2 years' ward experience. They need to be able to work as part of a team; demonstrating excellent and proactive leadership skills to support and develop staff/students while also maintaining their own clinical skills. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and work ethic who is committed to creating a positive rehabilitation environment where patients are shown care and compassion; optimising patient independence and quality of life.

You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure best patient outcomes based on individual needs and plan a safe discharge once the patient has reached their potential. This can be a challenge when supporting patients with co-morbidities and complex needs, therefore the post holder will require excellent communication, problem solving and clinical reasoning skills.
