Full Job Description

The CCU is committed to the advancement of acute cardiac services and applicants should be supportive and enthusiastic towards developments., The post holder will be responsible for the specialist care of a patient or group of patients assessing, development, implementation and evaluation of care. They will be required to offer clinical support to the B7 Nurse in Charge and staff on duty throughout the 24 hour period. The main responsibilities of the role will be related to specialist clinical expertise within the acute Coronary Care setting with an emphasis on training and development of junior and new staff. The post holder is expected to be part of the trust cardiac arrest team. The post holder will also provide clinical cover for Non Invasive Testing Clinics at both Friarage (FHN) & The James Cook University Hospital (JCUH) site., South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff.   • After you complete these six and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities.
