Clinical SIM Fellow in Undergraduate Medical Education

This 9 month post offers 100% of time dedicated to education. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivery clinical SIM sessions, as well as bedside teaching and contribute to curriculum development, supporting student assessment and pastoral care. You will join an existing team of Clinical teaching fellows., To deliver high quality teaching to TCMS postgraduate-entry medical students in line with the TCMS curriculum requirements Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and skills Contribute to patient care in line with Trust policies and GMC standards Participate in clinical governance and audit activities where appropriate

• Primary Medical qualification (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent)
• Full GMC registration with license to practice
• Existing right to work in UK visa
• Minimum of 2 years NHS working experience
• Completion of Foundation Training, Experience of teaching medical students
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• IT skills relevant to teaching delivery (eg PowerPoint etc)
• Ability to provide constructive feedback, UK clinical postgraduate experience
• Experience working within the NHS
• Interest in medical education
• Completion of Foundation training at the time of job start date, Enthusiastic and motivated educator
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
