Full Job Description

The post holder will provide strong clinical leadership and strategic management of multidisciplinary teams delivering children's continuing care services.

The post holder will effectively manage the budget and the allocation of resources for the service. Particular emphasis will be placed on the management of performance, quality and resource utilisation with a view to securing the delivery of consistently.

Support the Senior Management Team in relation to strategic planning, clinical policy and governance to support the Service Plans in line with the Health Board's objectives, operational policies and strategic intent, They will lead commissioning arrangements for Children's Continuing Care, Section 117 aftercare and specialist health services for children with complex needs across Wales. Working collaboratively with local authorities, education, and independent providers, the post holder will ensure high-quality, safe, and equitable services that meet national standards and legislative requirements.
