Full Job Description
Providing administrative support to help deliver GMS and Non GMS work including the Quality Outcome Framework (QOF), Enhanced Services, AQP Contracts and any other schemes as required. Improving and developing systems and processes including utilising software/technology to enhance patient care and outcomes. - Good standard of education with good literacy and numeracy skills
- Track record of administrative experience in a healthcare setting or similar
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Good knowledge of EMIS Web
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and act as a role model
- Highly organised and excellent attention to detail
- Time management and ability to prioritise workload and support others
- Ability to follow policy and procedures
- Drive to provide excellent services for patients
- Caring and sensitive to patients needs
- Display good initiative and judgement including problem solving
- Polite and confident
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Flexibility & team working
- High levels of integrity, loyalty and confidentiality

- Understanding/experience with regard to GP Contracts, the Quality Outcome Framework and Enhanced Services at a senior administrator level
- Familiarity with: Templates and Protocols, Search and Reporting, Enquiry manager & CQRS
- Experience of data analysis, auditing and producing reports

Canterbury Medical Practice's priority is to provide the highest standard of clinical care to the 24,000 patients registered with the Practice as well as those from other practices who are seen in our additional clinics. We aim to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and support organisations, to enable more patients to be treated in a primary care setting, closer to home.
