Applications are invited from efficient and suitably qualified individuals for the post of a full-time, Band 3 Clinical Secretary within the Department of Cellular Pathology at Glangwili General Hospital on a permanent basis., Working 37.5 hours per week, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a wide range of duties appropriate to the post and job description in order to support a comprehensive and quality secretarial service to the Consultants and their teams.
Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and E-mail, coupled with proven secretarial skills (including audio typing skills) and previous experience of medical terminology is essential., They will undertake audio transcription, and the typing of highly sensitive letters and reports, maintaining confidentiality at all times in addition to operation of the Health Board's patient database system. They will be expected to demonstrate excellent organisation skills and be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work. They must be able to work on their initiative, use tact and diplomacy where appropriate and possess excellent communication skills.
