Clinical Research Fellow in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (ST3+ equivalent)

We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our well integrated team. The successful candidate will participate in the registrar on call rota, covering both gynaecology and obstetrics. This will include delivery suite cover and acute gynaecology and early pregnancy. We operate a 1 in 8 on call rota including nights and weekends. Day time activities include antenatal clinics, general gynaecology clinics and rapid access. In addition there will be opportunities to cover theatre, outpatient hysteroscopy and specialist clinics such as urogynaecology, fetal medicine and endometriosis. Protected time will be allocated weekly for a research project and clinical sessions will be focussed around the candidates area of interest where possible., We are looking for an enthusiastic doctor to join our dynamic team of resident and trust grade doctors.We hope this will be a good opportunity to work in a busy, tertiary unit. Giving the candidate unique experiences in oncology, endometriosis, urogynaecology and fetal medicine.This role will support the tier 2/3 rota for the on call portion, and part time during the day to help with service provision and in areas of relevance to the area of research the candidate is invested in.
