Clinical Psychologist

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to become a key member of our multidisciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties including neurodevelopmental conditions.The post holder works collaboratively with families, schools, social care, health professionals and partner agencies to support effective treatment planning, risk management and positive outcomes for young people. A central aspect of the role is providing clinical supervision, training and support to qualified and trainee staff, helping to strengthen psychologically informed practice across services. The post holder contributes to the development and governance of psychological services, participates in service evaluation, audit and research activities, and supports the continuous improvement of CAMHS through evidence-based practice and service development initiatives. The role requires autonomous professional practice within professional and organisational guidelines while maintaining high standards of clinical care, safeguarding and record keeping.,
