Full Job Description

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist to become a core member of our neuropsychology team. The Post-holder will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of clinical neuropsychology services to the stroke pathway (acute, inpatient rehabilitation, and early supported discharge) across North Wales. The post holder will work closely with the Head of the North Wales Brain Injury Service and Clinical Lead Consultant Neuropsychologist in Stroke to develop a sustainable model of clinical service delivery., The post-holder will work in inpatient and community settings to offer a high quality, responsive, and patient-centred model of psychological care in an agreed locality. This will involve clinical supervision of assistant psychologists and other healthcare professionals. The post holder will also work as a senior member of the service and carry a highly specialist clinical caseload.

There are excellent opportunities for continued professional development and clinical supervision and support will be offered for further training and formal education. NWBIS has close links with Bangor University and we are able to offer opportunities to contribute to research and other academic activities with the University. We are able to provide supervision and support for the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology.
