Clinical Pharmacy Team Leader (Medical Services)

This senior role will provide professional leadership and work closely with pharmacy, medical, nursing, operational and corporate colleagues to support safe, effective medicines optimisation for patients. You will lead a team of advanced clinical pharmacists and be supported by clinical pharmacy technicians and medicines optimisation assistants, to provide the best possible care to our patients. You will work alongside our clinical lead pharmacists in Emergency Medicine, Education & Training, Medicines Governance and other specialities to drive forward the pharmacy service and implement new innovative ways of working., The successful applicant will be a visible pharmacy leader and role model with the accountability and responsibility for the provision and development of safe and cost-effective pharmacy services to the medical specialities. Lead a team of highly skilled pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff working to deliver outstanding pharmacy services. Support the further develop of the clinical pharmacy workforce including the role of Medicines Management Technicians and Medicines Optimisation Assistants. Develop a strategic plan for the operational delivery of clinical pharmacy services to the medical specialities, supporting a positive patient experience, medicines optimisation, and continuous improvement.
