Clinical Nurse Specialist - Children & Young People's Unit

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced children's nurse to join our CNS team., The post holder is responsible for providing a comprehensive and high-quality cancer nursing service to the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.

He / she will lead and provide advanced nursing care to patients with cancer, with particular responsibility for enhancing the patient experience of cancer treatment, ensuring continuity of care and influencing patient pathways. The post holder will be a clinical expert, sound educator, committed researcher and proficient leader.

The post holder will work collaboratively and autonomously interfacing with Children's and Young People's Outreach and Symptom Care Team (CYPOONS), Paediatric Oncology Shared Care Units (POSCUs), Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) and across other professional boundaries using advanced knowledge and assessment skills to facilitate the most suitable care and environment for patients and their family.
