Clinical Nurse Specialist - Breast Care

Are you an experienced and compassionate breast care nurse looking for an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of patients affected by breast cancer? We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic Band 7 Breast Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our established and supportive breast cancer nursing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-performing multidisciplinary service that delivers daily one-stop diagnostic clinics and provides seamless care to patients from diagnosis, through treatment, and into living with and beyond cancer. You will play a pivotal role in supporting patients and their families, providing expert clinical guidance, personalised care and advocacy throughout their cancer journey., As a Band 7 Breast Care Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide expert clinical leadership and specialist nursing support to patients with breast cancer and other breast conditions throughout their diagnostic, treatment and survivorship pathways. Acting as a key worker, you will coordinate care, provide holistic assessment, information and emotional support, and ensure patients receive timely, individualised and compassionate care.

Working closely with breast surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, allied health professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of an integrated service that supports patients from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. You will be involved in complex decision-making, treatment planning and pathway coordination, ensuring a positive patient experience and high standards of care.

The role offers opportunities to influence and develop nursing practice, particularly in areas such as enhanced recovery following breast surgery, survivorship and rehabilitation. You will contribute to service improvement, clinical governance, education and professional development activities, while providing expert advice and support to colleagues.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, adaptable and proactive, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering excellence in breast cancer care.
