Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are looking for a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist (RMN with Nurse Prescribing Qualification) with advanced clinical skills to join the Female Acute Inpatient Pathway in Hellesdon . We want applicants who are keen to be part of transformation and improvement in the area of our acute care pathway; people who can offer strong clinical leadership, education and mentoring to the team.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside the multidisciplinary team (MDT), providing expert clinical leadership, supporting complex clinical decision-making, and championing high standards of evidence-based care.

Main duties of the job

There is two posts one on Kestrel ward which is an all female ward 16 bed and Waveney ward all female acute 17 beds, we are looking for highly motivated CNS to bring their experience and leadership skills to enhance the team.

You will be responsible to provide clinical leadership to the clinical team in the care, treatment and therapy of the client group, with a clear focus on clinical risk and its management, care planning, and co-ordination of care delivery within a well-resourced team, supported with regular supervision and providing opportunities to work in partnership with health and social care, linking into the multi-disciplinary service.

You will able to influence, lead and motivate staff at all levels within the clinical environment to deliver high quality care. CNS , you will provide expertise, support and advice to clinical practitioners regarding all aspects of clinical care including implementing best practise based on evidence based practice and National Guidance.
