Full Job Description
The successful candidate will play a key role within the department's leadership team, contributing to the operational management and delivery of high-quality MRI services. Responsibilities will include the management and monitoring of departmental performance and staff-related KPIs, maintaining professional standards, and supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care. We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and highly motivated radiographer with strong people-management skills and a passion for continuous service improvement. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high clinical standards while ensuring compassionate, patient-focused care at all times., To manage radiographic, admin & clerical staff, assistant practitioners, radiology assistants and students within a designated area/department, provide clear clinical leadership for the day to day organisation of the departmental section in accordance with professional and departmental protocols To carry out the full range of imaging/duties within specialised area, to be consistently high standard. - District general hospital services for Coventry and Rugby, our local population.
- Tertiary centre for Coventry and Warwickshire, providing complex specialist services for the sector and beyond.
- Provider of innovative and leading-edge clinical services to Coventry and Warwickshire.
- The clinical base for The University of Warwick Medical School. University Hospital of Coventry and Warwick is a large PFI hospital which ensures a guaranteed equipment replacement programme. Consequently all the imaging equipment is replaced with top range systems on a regular basis resulting in a very modern department.
Applicants must possess extensive UK experience as an MRI Radiographer, with a proven ability to work within a busy clinical environment and contribute to service development and operational excellence.
