Clinical lead CAMHS ND / LD

This is an exciting new post created to offer clinical leadership and expertise to 3 community CAMHS teams in Bury, Oldham and Rochdale. The post involves offering expertise in working with children and young people presenting to CAMHS with a moderate to severe mental health need and other complexity around neurodiversity and or a Learning disability . To provide guidance and support to clinical staff in the management of complex cases.

• To provide guidance and support on relevant legislation.
• To be responsible for the development and maintenance of effective clinical pathways between CAMHS and other services.
• To provide additional leadership and guidance to other team members in risk assessment, risk management and positive problem solving and lead on debriefs following incidents.
• Develop confidence and competence within the team for managing complex clinical cases and issues.
• To take a lead role in the provision of clinical leadership and structured clinical supervision to the team.
• To lead on and ensure that the team undertakes appropriate and in-depth assessments and on-going intervention, and undertake the duties and responsibilities of an active lead case manager role We are proud to provide high quality mental health and learning disability services, both inpatient and in the community across five boroughs of Greater Manchester - Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport and Tameside and Glossop. To provide clinical leadership, support and supervision to clinical staff. To support an identified team of practitioners with advice and guidance on the management of complex clinical case.
• To work as an integral part of the CAMHS Service which will include carrying a small complex caseload.
• To participate in the extended working hours as required by the needs of the service
• To provide clinical leadership and structured clinical supervision to the team.
- Maintain consistency and quality of care for all service users under the care of CAMHS and support effective and timely discharge. - Support safe ,efficient and effective high quality transitions in and out of CAMHS. - Ensure the team works in a collaborative manner with other agencies and partnerships across the service.
