Full Job Description
Gordon Moody is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead to provide advanced clinical leadership across its residential gambling harms treatment services. Based in Redditch and reporting to the Head of Therapy, this senior role carries responsibility for ensuring the safe, effective, and evidence-based delivery of structured treatment for individuals experiencing gambling-related harms and associated mental health difficulties. The postholder will lead clinical practice, governance, workforce development, and service quality across multidisciplinary teams, working within services aligned to national gambling harms policy frameworks and the NHS Long Term Plan.,
- Clinical Leadership & Practice Providing specialist clinical expertise in assessing and treating gambling-related harms and co-occurring mental health conditions, leading on complex case formulation, overseeing evidence-based interventions (e.g. CBT), and maintaining oversight of safeguarding and risk management.
- Leadership & Service Management Offering clinical and operational leadership, line managing Gambling Therapists, supporting recruitment and workforce planning, and deputising for the Head of Therapy when needed.
- Clinical Governance & Quality Leading governance activities such as audits, peer review, and quality improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring outcomes, and supporting inspections and commissioner reviews.
- Strategic & Partnership Working Aligning services with national frameworks, supporting integration with wider mental health services, and representing Gordon Moody in clinical networks and partnerships.
- Training & Workforce Development Providing clinical supervision, promoting trauma-informed practice, and supporting CPD and training initiatives across the workforce.
